Session summary

Just like the last invitation by Prince Angélique BelleFleure, one was invited in the art-deco building that used to serve as Ostend's main Postoffice. Letters were sent with invitations already informing Kindred that there would be an Elysium. The reason of this gathering would be the rumours of the Camarilla assembling strongly in the nearby Domain of Bruges. One was welcomed quite formally by Jean Vermoote, Keeper of Elysium and Neonate of Clan Ventrue.

Every Kindred of Bruges was highly anticipated and the rumours were confirmed. Over one night the Kindred population around Bruges had decided that it was time to reclaim the Center of Bruges as Camarilla territory. The Nosferatu Ancilla visiting Ostend the previous month had claimed Praxis and wasn’t opposed by anyone. Immediatly assembling his court together. His choice fell on the Neonate of Clan Toreador Drago Rosethorne as Seneschal, the Ventrue Ancilla John Sinclair as Keeper of Elysium and a Neonate Gangrel named George acting as Sheriff.

Seneschal Eldwin Falckeauge adressed and welcomed all Kindred guests and excused the Prince, Her Majesty Angélique BelleFleure for her absence this night claiming the invitation still kept it’s value as that night the news around the Domain of Bruges would be debated throughout the night.

Amongst the visitors from Bruges there was Oscar Gouille, a Neonate Malkavian with apparent discomfort concerning his facial features as he hid them behind a mask together with another Neonate of that particular Clan stating his name was Logan. A Brujah named Jean Pascal accompanied by his right of free speech was also one of the Brugians present. Several representatives of the Court were also affirming the rumours circulating. The Sheriff George and the Seneschal Drago Rosethorne. No formal introductions as courtmembers of the neighbouring Domain were made raising one eyebrow of the Tremere replacement Prince that evening.

Welcomed in Ostend were also the Kindred Geraard Ide, Neonate of Clan Tremere who was found at the side of Nergiz Jonquil practically the entire night and a Neonate Ventrue by the name of Lisl Kratz.

Noticed was again the presence of Pjetrov Kravets who shared his idealistic views on freedom with any who wanted to hear.

The Revelation of the evening came with an announcement by Alessandro Giovanni. Reading aloud a letter signed by Radek Novak. Discrediting Drago Rosethorne with inappropriate behaviour as Seneschal claiming his position was withdrawn and taken over by the thorn in the local Brugians eye, mister Alessandro Giovanni himself.
This turn of events clearly amused several Kindred not taking the source of the news as truth. Staying rather calm on these statements the letter and it’s content were examined by most Kindred present.

Yuri’s presence was demanded outdoors, serving as Brujah Sheriff and together with Willem the Ancilla Gangrel and his clanmate Alexei Kiriloff went investigating strange events on a nearby street.
As the shock of the evening literally a tremor was felt in the Elysium as candles vibrated slightly without apparent cause. Later also the Caitiff Ted Dawson and the Ventrue Jean Vermoote went outside, with good reason probably since the Keeper was leaving his Elysium leaving it in the care of the Seneschal.
One might assume other issues were at hand that night since the rather stoic Tremere Seneschal was interrupted in nearly every conversation with updates on the situation.

Not much later all members of Clan Malkavian got everyone’s attention with a display only possible for Kindred of that designated Clan. Exhausted they worried the guests with tales of an earthquake most surely the small vibration felt before and visions of naked bodies thrown upon the beholder of the waking dream.

Worried faces increased once the Sheriff and the other Kindred entered the Elysium once more and reported personally to the Seneschal. As the investigation kept ongoing and the Malkavians were questioned on their experiences several Kindred were concerned and linked the events to the death of the anarch Malkavian not that long ago. Confronted on this subject the anarch present named Pjetrov bolted out.

The Brujah Sheriff Yuri together with Alexei Kiriloff and the Gangrel Willem immediately went in pursuit of the seemingly hasted anarch Ventrue.

Rumours have it that the Ancilla Brujah Sheriff of Ostend has not been seen since then…
